If you are a Sole Owner then you can use a personal bank account, it must be in the name of the principal owner of the business. If your business is a Limited Company, then you must use a business account in the name of the Limited Company.
Do I Need To Have An Account With a Bank?
You can have a bank account with any registered Financial Institution in Canada. This includes Banks, Trust Companies or Credit Unions
Do I Need To Change My Bank Account?
No, you do not need to change your Bank or your Bank Account. Proceeds of your sales will be deposited to any account at any registered Financial Institution in Canada.
When Will I Receive My Money?
Funds for all transaction settled prior to 9:00PM will be submitted to your bank early the following morning. Depending upon your Bank’s processing activity, funds may be deposited on the same day or the following day. Transaction settled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be submitted to your bank on Tuesday morning.
When Do I Pay My Fees?
Fees will be charged to your bank account on the 1st business day of each month. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are in your account to pay for the fees. If not you will be charged an NSF fee.
